The Society's mission is to foster appreciation of the art of P. Buckley Moss, to promote charitable endeavors consistent with her ideals, and to promote the use of arts in special education.

The Society is an independent organization fromed by Moss collectors in 1987. During its 14-year existence, the Society has been directly responsible for raising over $1,200,000 for charity. Local chapters of the Society - currently 37 are active - have raised over three quarters of that amount. In addition, they have collected thousands of pounds of goods for individuals or organizations in need. Through donations from its Charity Collection of Moss art, the Society has helped other organizations raise over $200,000 in each of the past several years. Over 20,000 members currently belong to the Society and enjoy the following benefits available only to its members.
